An afternoon of sport, smiles and togetherness: Atalanta at “A merenda con lo sport”
The initiative, promoted by the Associazione Amici della Pediatria in collaboration with ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII, has now reached its 13th edition
A special afternoon dedicated to children, combining sport, fun and healthy eating. This is the spirit behind “A merenda con lo sport”, the initiative promoted by the Associazione Amici della Pediatria in collaboration with the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital, designed to encourage healthy lifestyles from an early age through play and shared experiences.
Once again, Atalanta chose to take part, reaffirming the Club’s support for an initiative that has become a well-established tradition over the years. A day filled with smiles and light-hearted moments, while also conveying an important message to younger generations about the value of physical activity and healthy eating.
What makes the event even more special are its main protagonists: the children, both those receiving treatment at the hospital and those who chose to join in for an afternoon out of the ordinary, centred around sport and spending time together.
Held in the city hospital’s “Hospital Street”, the event has now reached its 13th edition, underlining the strength of a project that brings together awareness, education and fun. An opportunity to remind children and adults alike just how important exercise and a balanced diet are for healthy development.
Accompanied by Mirko Vedovati (Atalanta) and educator Giulia Pagani, Primavera players Raul Cojocariu, Alessandro Tassani, Francesco Olivieri, Diego Perillo and Giovanni Zanatta attended the event and also took part in some of the activities organised.
Once again, the event delivered plenty of smiles and special moments. Atalanta’s participation in the 13th edition of “A merenda con lo sport” provided another opportunity to share a special afternoon with many children, made all the more meaningful by the enthusiasm and smiles of its young protagonists.
The success of the initiative was also made possible by all those who contributed their time, energy and enthusiasm throughout the day. Atalanta would like to extend its sincere thanks to all the volunteers and everyone who helped make the event possible.
