Academy, U17s through to Memorial Seghedoni final

Atalanta's U17s have booked their place in the final of the 11th Memorial Seghedoni. Playing in Fanano, Emilia-Romagna, where the team are currently holding the first stage of their pre-season training camp, Head Coach Fautario's side (pictured above) defeated Bologna 4-3 after an entertaining, end-to-end contest.

The Nerazzurri went into the break with a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Casali and Percassi before extending their advantage in the second half through new Slovenian signing Koren. Bologna fought back to level the score at 3-3 midway through the second half, but Koren struck again in the closing stages to seal Atalanta's place in the final.

The final will be played at the Stadio Pertini in Fanano on Monday, 10 August, with kick-off scheduled for 20:45 CEST.
