2026 FIFA World Cup: Pašalić and Kamaldeen also through to the Round of 32
All eight Atalanta representatives have reached the knockout stage
With the group stage now complete, the FIFA World Cup 2026 moves into the knockout rounds, where the remaining teams will battle it out for a place in the final on 19 July.
Bringing Atalanta representatives' group-stage commitments to a close was the all-Nerazzurri showdown between Mario Pašalić and Kamaldeen Sulemana, as Croatia claimed a 2-1 victory over Ghana.
Pašalić came on in the 78th minute, while Kamaldeen featured for the opening 71 minutes.
All Atalanta's World Cup Internationals have successfully progressed beyond the group stage. Attention now turns to the Round of 32, where every match is a straight knockout contest.
