Wednesday night action in France for 4th League Phase showdown
French side Olympique de Marseille will be Atalanta's opponent for the Nerazzurri's fourth 2025/26 UEFA Champions League League Phase night as the team heads to the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille for a 21:00 CET kick-off on Wednesday, November 5. This will be the third European encounter between the two clubs, following the UEFA Europa League semi-final (home and away) that saw the Bergamo side reach the historic Dublin final in the 2023/24 season.
Olympique de Marseille - or simply Marseille, OM - are a French football club founded in 1899. In addition to competing in Ligue 1, France’s top division, Les Minots are the country's second-most decorated club boasting a trophy cabinet that includes: 9 French league titles, 10 Coupe de France wins, 3 French Super Cups, and the historic UEFA Champions League triumph in Munich in the 1992-1993 season.

In their latest Ligue 1 outing, the French side won 1-0 away at Auxerre and currently sit second in the table with 22 points after eleven matches. In this season’s UEFA Champions League, Les Phocéens secured a 4-0 home win over Ajax but were edged 2-1 by Sporting CP on the road.
