Luca Percassi named Italy's Best Executive in Portofino
Luca Percassi bestowed with the most prestigious honour at the third edition of the "Premio Nazionale Gianni Di Marzio"
A prestigious award for CEO Luca Percassi, who received the “3° Premio Nazionale Gianni Di Marzio” as Italy's Best Executive.
The award ceremony, organised by Telenord in collaboration with several leading figures from the worlds of sport and media to celebrate Italian football and pay tribute to the historic coach and sporting director Gianni Di Marzio, took place in the stunning setting of Castello Brown in Portofino.
Hosting the evening were Massimiliano Monti, publisher of Telenord, and the Di Marzio family, as the event brought together some of the most prominent personalities in Italian football and sport.
Fellow award recipients included Claudio Ranieri and Enzo Maresca. Among the distinguished guests were former footballer Goran Pandev, 1982 FIFA World Cup winner Giuseppe Dossena, and Olympic medallist snowboarder Lorenzo Sommariva.
“This is an award I could never have imagined receiving 16 years ago, when I became CEO of Atalanta,” said Luca Percassi in an interview with Sky Sport. “It is a recognition that gives me great pride and satisfaction. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me throughout these years and contributed so much to Atalanta’s growth and success, allowing me to be here today to receive this award.”
