1. FC Köln vs Atalanta friendly: Info for the fans

Ahead of the friendly match between 1. FC Köln and Atalanta, scheduled for Saturday, August 9, at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne, with kickoff at 15:30 CEST, the German Club has released important details to streamline stadium access. Visiting supporters are allocated sectors N6 (standing area) and N16 (seated area) in the North Stand. Please note that, contrary to previous information, access to both sectors will be through a single entry gate. The stadium gates will open two hours prior to kickoff, and entry will only be permitted with a valid ticket.

GETTING TO THE STADIUM

- By car and/or bus:

• Set your GPS to Aachener Str. 800, 50933 Cologne. Take the A1 motorway and exit at Köln-Lövenich. Follow the signs for “Aachener Straße” towards the stadium (Stadion) and continue following the signage directing you to the North parking area. Parking fees are: €7 for cars and €20 for 9-seater minivans or buses.

- By Public transport

• Take tram line 1 from “Neumarkt” (direction “Weiden”) and disembark at “RheinEnergieStadion.” Alternatively, you can board line 1 at “Weiden West,” accessible via S-Bahn lines 12 and 13 from Cologne Central Station or Cologne/Bonn Airport.
  Your match ticket grants free travel on public transport within the VRS area, provided you have your valid stadium entry ticket at the time of travel.
