Stamping their qualification with a dominant 1-3 win in Chioggia, Atalanta U23s have made it to the knockout stage with two games to spare, booking a playoff spot for the second year running!
Wasting no time, the Nerazzurri got on the scoresheet just 7 minutes in: with Gyabuaa winning a penalty after being brought down in the box, Panada made no mistake from the spot and fired his 4th seasonal goal home to give Atalanta the lead. Dominating possession throughout the first half and consistently surging forward in search of a second goal, coach Modesto's lads stretched their lead on 39 minutes: surging into the box with a perfectly timed run, Gyabuaa squared it to Bergonzi, who slotted it home with a sliding finish.
As chances came few and far between in the second half, Atalanta opted to stay on top of the game, managing their lead until the 79th, when Vlahović made it three with a left-footed curler from outside the box. On 87 minutes, the hosts found the consolation goal with Sianani.
