UEL RO16 1st leg – Sporting CP v Atalanta: the Fair Play event
The Meeting Was Hosted in a quaint restaurant in Lisbon
As tradition dictates, in the hours before the José Alvalade match, Sporting CP counterparts executives welcomed their Atalanta homologues, the UEFA delegate and representatives to a quaint Lisbon restaurant for the customary “Fair-Play meeting” between the two teams favoured by UEFA.
The Sporting CP hosting party comprised the likes of President Frederico Varandas, Vice-Presidents Francisco Zenha and André Bernardo, Institutional Administration Advisor Patrícia Silva Lopes and Entity Board members Margarida Dias Ferreira and Inês Abreu.
As for the UEFA representatives, it was Delegate Milan Jankovic who acted as spokesperson of the governing body of European football.
On Atalanta’s behalf, the event was attended by CEO Luca Percassi, Director General Umberto Marino, Commercial and Marketing Director Romano Zanforlin and Secretary General Marco Semprini.
