UEL RO16 1st leg – Sporting CP v Atalanta: Important information for fans travelling to Lisbon

As reported by Sporting CP, here is some useful information for Atalanta fans who will be travelling to Lisbon for the first leg of their UEFA Europa League last-16.

• Entry to the Away Fans Segregated Area at the José de Alvalade stadium (Rua Professor Fernando da Fonseca, 1501-806 Lisboa) is at Gate V.

• You can show tickets in PDF format directly on your smartphone/mobile device. However, we recommend that you also carry a paper printout of your ticket in case of access problems.

• The introduction and sale of alcoholic beverages of any kind and/or alcoholic strength are prohibited inside the stadium.

• Payment by card or cash is accepted in the Away Fan Section.

• In accordance with local Portuguese regulations, children under the age of 3 are not allowed in any part of the stadium, including the Away Fan Section.

• Banners or flags larger than 1m x 1m are not allowed into the Away Fan Section. Any other material and/or cheering instruments must be sent to Sporting CP in advance and, if necessary, be approved by the Public Security Authorities.

Stadium Visitors are invited to cooperate with security, by submitting to inspections, body checks and removal of items that are prohibited from using, possessing, holding or bringing into the Stadium on Matchdays.

All Stadium Visitors must occupy only the seat indicated on their ticket and shall access it only via the designated entrance.

At the end of the match, Atalanta supporters in the Away Fan Section will have to wait 30 to 45 minutes before leaving the stadium for security reasons, in full coordination with the Portuguese authorities.

MEETING POINT The meeting point for Atalanta BC fans is Rossio Square / Metro station, easily accessible by public transport from 3 hours before kick-off (exit "TELHEIRAS", Green Line - 5 minutes walk to the entrance of the Away Fans Segregated Area of the stadium, gate V). On the day of the match, for security reasons, Atalanta fans are strictly forbidden to get off at the CAMPO GRANDE exit of the Metro.

There will be a dedicated metro line for Atalanta fans.

In the metro stations, it is compulsory to buy a ticket or use a credit/debit card directly at the metro entrance turnstiles. It is also possible to purchase a metro ticket at the airport: you can buy a 24-hour ticket or a one-way ticket from the meeting point (Rossio Station) to the José Alvalade stadium (Telheiras Station).
