UEFA Youth League: off to Turkey to face Trabzonspor

After hosting Bologna on Saturday morning, the Nerazzurri will hit the road for another all-or-nothing European knockout. On Wednesday, March 5, Atalanta are to square off against Trabzonspor at the Şenol Güneş Spor Kompleksi in Trabzon, Turkey, for the 2024/25 UEFA Youth League Round of 16 single-leg tie. As opposed to previous indications, kick-off has been brought forward to 14:00 local time (12:00 CET).

After emerging victorious 9-10 from the penalty shootout against Dynamo Kyiv in the Round of 32, coach Bosi's Atalanta were pitted against Trabzonspor in the February 14 draw in Nyon. The Turkish side enters the match following a 1-0 home win over Juventus in the previous round.
