Our monthly schedule, April
Ready for the prologue to the final dash?
A month with a distinctly “on the road” feel awaits the Nerazzurri, kicking off the final sprint to the checkered flag. Beyond the crucial fixtures in the Serie A and Coppa Italia, another twist will raise the stakes this April: the “field factor”, with three of the five matches scheduled away from Bergamo.
After the pit stop for the international break, the Nerazzurri will fire up their engines with the first away test on the calendar: back on track at the Via del Mare in Lecce for the Monday outing on April 6 at 15:00 CEST.
Following Easter Monday in Salento, the first of April’s three turning points awaits: back at the New Balance Arena for the first home fixture of the month, Atalanta will host Juventus in the first of two crucial crossroads in the race for a European spot. Kick-off in prime time: Saturday, April 11 at 20:45 CEST.
The second away trip takes the Nerazzurri to the capital for the second yellow-and-red game of the month: after facing the Apulian Giallorossi, Atalanta will then make the trip to the Olimpico Stadium for the head-to-head for the top-table positions against Roma. Kick-off on Saturday, April 18 at 20:45 CEST.
Back-and-forth between home and away continues with another do-or-die clash: for the penultimate fixture of the month, the Coppa Italia returns to Bergamo for the second leg of the semi-finals against Lazio. The prize? A ticket to the May 13 final in Rome. Kick-off at the New Balance Arena on Wednesday, April 22 at 21:00 CEST.
And to close out the month as it began—once more on the road and in a Monday slot—the Nerazzurri will set sail for Cagliari for the last fixture of April: the clash in Sardinia kicks off on April 27 at 18:30 CEST.
