U23s, Welcome Coach Beati
Nicola Beati appointed Head Coach of Atalanta Under-23
Atalanta BC are pleased to announce the appointment of Nicola Beati as Head Coach of the Club's Under-23 side.
Born in Perugia on 13 February 1983, Beati came through the youth ranks at Inter, where he won the Primavera Championship in the 2001/02 season before making his senior debut in both Serie A and the UEFA Champions League. During his playing career, the former midfielder also represented Triestina, Spezia, Arezzo, Crotone, Frosinone and Sorrento, while earning one cap for Italy Under-21s.
Following his retirement from professional football, Beati embarked on a coaching career. After spending two seasons with Inter's Primavera side, first as a technical coach and then as assistant coach, he joined Paolo Zanetti's staff in 2021 as technical coach. He has since worked alongside Zanetti at Venezia, Empoli and, most recently, Hellas Verona.
The Club extends a warm welcome to Nicola Beati and wishes him every success in his new role with Atalanta Under-23.
