U23s, Steffanoni makes his mark for Italy U19s

Italy U19s got off to a winning start in the friendly tournament in Croatia, overcoming France 2-1. Federico Steffanoni played the full 90 minutes and contributed to the Azzurrini's win with an assist.

Also in action today were Italy U20s, who suffered a 3-1 defeat to England in their Elite League opener. Javison Idele started the game, while Jacopo Mirra came on after the break. Alessandro Anelli, meanwhile, returned to Zingonia due to injury.

Albert Navarro has also joined the list of Atalanta U23 players away on international duty during the break. The defender has been called up by Spain U20s for their friendly against Mexico, scheduled for Wednesday 30 September at 20:30 CEST at the Cerro del Espino in Majadahonda.
