Commenting on Atalanta’s Coppa Italia Serie C exit, Salvatore Bocchetti said: "I'm disappointed because we started well, and I'm disgruntled with the way we exited the competition. The attitude in the second half let me down – we are Atalanta, and we cannot allow performances like that. Playing with this mindset is simply unacceptable".
"Today I expected a response from those who had less playing time, to make my selection choices for upcoming matches more challenging," the coach concluded. "This match will give me cues for future decisions, but for now, we need to focus on Sunday’s game against Siracusa. We need to put this match behind us; we've never played so poorly before.
