U23s: Match report from the friendly against Aris FC

Atalanta U23s continued their preparations for the 2026/27 season with a second pre-season friendly against Aris FC.

The Nerazzurri endured a difficult start as the Greek side broke the deadlock just five minutes in through Kouame. Coach Beati's men gradually grew into the game, increasing both the tempo and the quality of their play while creating several promising opportunities, but were unable to find an equaliser. Aris FC doubled their lead in the 35th minute courtesy of Racic. Atalanta had a golden chance to halve the deficit six minutes later when Bonanomi won a penalty, but his effort came back off the post. Then, in first-half stoppage time (45+1), Kouame completed his brace to send Aris FC into the break with a 3-0 advantage.

The tempo dropped after the restart, with both sides creating little in the way of clear-cut chances. Neither team was able to alter the scoreline, and Aris FC claimed a 3-0 victory at the final whistle.
