U23s, Salvatore Bocchetti: "We'll find our way out soon"

Commenting on the away defeat to Potenza, Salvatore Bocchetti stated: "While we put in a decent performance, overall we gave away too much. We weren't sharp enough and they stung us on the break. Although we created chances to score, it didn't go our way. Now we have to switch focus immediately and prepare to put in a strong performance on Saturday against Foggia".

"We've got a few players out injured so we'll see if we can get anyone back for Saturday- ythe coach added- When you have a young squad on your hands, feeling certain absences more it's part of the game, yet whoever steps in needs to give everything and be ready to deliver. There’s definitely some frustration and disappointment in the group because we feel we’ve come away with less than we deserved from these matches, but now it's time to roll up our sleeves and go all out for a big result in the next one".

Bocchetti wrapped up saying: "We need to work on the mental and emotional side of the game, that's par for the course with youngsters. But I'm hopeful, because I know this group well, and how they work. I'm confident we'll come through this tough patch soon".
