U23s, Salvatore Bocchetti: "A team to be proud of"
The coach's post-match de-briefing
Following the home win over Trapani, coach Salvatore Bocchetti commented as follows: "We really yearned to cut a fine figure and we brought our chances to bear right from the start. We manged the game well, but in the second half we should have put it to bed to avoid any risk. All in all, I'm really pleased with the maturity showed by the lads against a challenging opponent such as Trapani. I'm proud and grateful to be working with a group such as this. Ther's still a long way to go, thebrunt of a tough and demanding season is still ahed of us".
"The lads have always trained with intent, even when things weren't going our way -the coach added-. Standing-wise, we deserved more: there were games we didn't deserve to lose, but that's parrt of the game. This is a tight-knit and hard-working group, who puts in the work day and and day out, and we'll go on this way. Saturday brings a big test and we'll have to approach it with the right mindset, it's going to be a clucth game".
