HEYE Research Center Summer School at the New Balance Arena
Around 50 students took part in the stadium tour
On Tuesday, June 9, the New Balance Arena welcomed a delegation of around fifty university students and lecturers, hosted by Atalanta as part of the 2026 Summer School programme organised by the HEYE Research Center (Higher Education & Youth Employability).
The initiative involved the University of Bergamo, the University of Augsburg (Germany), and the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University (United States), partners in a collaborative project promoting multidisciplinary educational activities focused on sustainability and local economic development.
The visit gave participants the opportunity to experience the Nerazzurri environment first-hand and discover the New Balance Arena, as well as gain insight into the Percassi Group and its various brands, through a session dedicated to its growth model and strong ties with the local community.
The event opened with Mauro Seghezzi, Head of Planning and Management Control at Atalanta, who delivered an introductory presentation, followed by Natasha Dixon, Talent Acquisition Manager at Percassi, who outlined the Group’s history, structure, values, and career development opportunities.
The programme then continued with a guided tour of the New Balance Arena, allowing students and lecturers to access some of the stadium’s most iconic areas, including the press conference room, mixed zone, dressing rooms, gym, team benches, and the hospitality area known as the Legends Club, offering an immersive experience inside Atalanta’s home stadium.
The initiative is part of the ongoing collaboration between the club, the local area, and the academic world, reaffirming Atalanta’s commitment to promoting dialogue and learning opportunities on social, economic, and cultural topics.
