U23s, Salvatore Bocchetti: "A clutch point"

Reacting to the draw at Monopoli, coach Salvatore Bocchetti said: "We knew they were a strong side. Given how the match unfolded, we probably could have taken more from it, but this point is still important. Last season, we were in Group A, and Group C is a different environment - the boys are giving everything and the results are starting to show. They're gaining more and more belief in their means and strength, and I'm proud to coach. Lately, a few episodes haven't gone our way, like the penalty, but I have nothing to fault the lads for. We came here to play our football, and we did it well. Again, we could have got something more, but I’m very satisfied all the same. Defensively, we were excellent; it's right to highlight that because they deserved it. Now we focus on next Sunday's match".
