U23s, preliminary Call-Ups for the UEFA U19 European Championship

Three Nerazzurri players have received a preliminary call-up to the Italy U19 squad ahead of the final tournament of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship, scheduled to be held in Wales from 28 June to 11 July.

Among the players included in head coach Alberto Bollini’s preliminary squad are Atalanta U23 duo Idele and Steffanoni, along with Primavera keeper Anelli.

Italy have been drawn in Group B and will make their debut on Monday 29 June against Serbia (17:00 CEST), before facing Croatia on Thursday 2 July (15:00 CEST) and Ukraine on Sunday 5 July (17:00 CEST).

The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals. The tournament will feature Europe’s eight best national teams, divided into two groups of four, with the competition running from 28 June to 11 July.
