2026/27 Pre-season: afternoon session at the New Balance Arena
Preparations will continue tomorrow with a double session at Zingonia
Today, Coach Sarri and his staff led an afternoon training session in front of the around 6,700 fans gathered at the stadium. Following the pre-season friendly against Feyenoord in the Netherlands, the Nerazzurri will travel to Germany for another high-profile test, this time taking on Schalke 04 in Gelsenkirchen on Saturday 8 August. Kick-off at the Veltins-Arena is scheduled for 17:00 CEST.
Today's training session began with an activation phase, after which the squad split into two groups: one worked on close-control drills with the ball, while the other focused on aerobic work. The session concluded with a mixed-sides small-sided game.
Tomorrow, Thursday 5 August, the pre-season schedule will continue with a behind-closed-doors training session at the Centro Bortolotti.
