U23s, Francesco Modesto: "We're in a good spell"

Reflecting on the away win at Union Clodiense that meant mathematical qualification for the playoffs, coach Francesco Modesto commented as follows: "It wasn't easy facing a team on the lookout for points to avoid relegation; they were giving it their all to grab a result, whatever it took. We had a great first half, where we could have netted more goals. I'm pleased with the lads' effort across the board: we're going through a good spell, delivering solid performances".

"While reaching the playoffs is on top of everyone's wishlist in the league - the Nerazzurri coach went on- we have to keep in mind that our primary goal is to ensure the nurturing of our youngsters by providing them the chance to grow in such a competitive environment. Today's result shows once again that the lads keep on stepping up without fail and that we're on the right track. With two games to go, the season's not over yet: we're focused on finishing strong, who we'll draw in the playoffs comes second".
