U23s, Francesco Modesto: "We ought to be sharper"

In his commentary on the setback suffered against Giana Erminio, coach Francesco Modesto started off by stressing how: "We started off well and created several chances with our whole attacking front in the opening minutes. However, due to our rather passive approach, first on a set-piece situation and then on a counter, we ended up conceding two avaidable goals. On the flipside, the team responded well in the second half. Yet, we still need to be more cynical and determined, rolling up our sleeves more".

"We just need to return our usual selves- the Nerazzurri coach added-it goes without saying that enthusiasm has twaned a bit of late, but we ought to muster it up once again through hard work. Being a young team, the more seasoned players have to step up and put their experise at the team's service. The season has a long way to go, and our focus should be on improving our performances, regardless of the outcome. We need to bring more malice to the table. we know how to play all our cards in the right way, but to do so we need to be more effective and single-minded".
