Hellenic flair incoming: Papadopoulos joins Atalanta U23s!
Greek forward on loan from Genoa
Atalanta BC are pleased to announce the acquisition, on a temporary deal with an option to make the move permanent, of the sporting rights of Greek footballer Christos Papadopoulos from Genoa.
Born in Larisa (Greece) on November 1 2004, Christos is a forward who began his footballing journey in his home country before moving to Italy to join Genoa in 2022. He spent two seasons with the Rossoblù youth team, amassing 46 appearances, 17 goals, and 6 assists, going on to make his professional debut with the Ligurian First Team on May 5 2023 at San Siro against Milan.
Last season, the Greek played for Juventus Next Gen in Serie C, making 19 appearances and scoring once in Group C.
