U16s: first session at the Centro Bortolotti 

Following in the steps of Atalanta Primavera, U18s and U17s, the black-and-blue U16s gathered at the Centro Bortolotti for the opening session of the new season. The team, built on the foundation of the 2010s-born group, will be led by coach Silvio Tribulzio, in his first year as a Nerazzurro youth Academy coach. "I'm ecstatic to be here, they made me feel at home from the very first minute. I've found an outstanding training facility, the very best one could ask at the youth level. We’re lucky to have these facilities at our disposal, and that should be an extra reason to pay attention to everything we do".

"I like my team to be the main actors in a match from every perspective - the coach continued- We need to be effective, proactive but also balanced, while keeping technical errors to a minimum. But the most important thing is for each and every U16s player to make another step forward and wrap up the season above all, each of them must take a step forward and end the season improved, ready for the jump to the U17s. I’ve observed the 2010 group: they’re a united team that puts the collective ahead of the individual. The upcoming training camp will be fundamental for getting to know each other better”.
