Trento 2-2 Atalanta U23s

All square at the Briamasco stadium on matchday 22 of the Serie C NOW, with Atalanta coming from behind and temporarily leading 2-1 at halftime, only to concede the equalizer from a free kick in the dying minutes.

The game in Trento was a lively affair from the outset, with the hosts taking an early lead through Di Carmine, who converted a penalty on 6 minutes. However, Atalanta responded immediately and Kraja equalised on 11 minutes with a long-range left-footed shot. Our U-23 side almost took the lead in the 33rd minute when Cassa set up Vlahović, whose effort was cleared off the line by Vitturini. After Di Carmine hit the post for the hosts in the 36th minute, the Nerazzurri deservedly took the lead in the 38th minute through Bernasconi, who unleashed a thunderous left-foot shot into the roof of the net that Vlahović set up.

With the game's tempo fizzling out in the second half, Atalanta U23s opted to manage the lead while still looking to create chances: in the 54th had his go with a first-time shot from range trying to capitalize on Del Lungo's pinpoint lay-off but Balocco was quick off the mark in muting the Nerazzurro's attempt. On 70 minutes Navarro took a crack at goal with a tricky shot from inside the box but found the opposing keeper's deflection. On the rebound, Vlahović went for the follow-up, only to be denied once again. On 78 and 81 minutes respectively, Vlahović had two close calls: while the first was blocked for a corner, the second just skimmed past the post. In the 86th Trento leveled the scores once again from a free kick taken by Disanto. Minute 92 saw Atalanta with another goal chance: after the crossbar denied Muhameti, Cassa couldn't capitalize on the rebound.
