The For Special at the Paralympic coaching course
The Nerazzurri selected as a model of education and inclusion
The Centro Sportivo Bettinelli in Milan hosted a training session last Saturday, 23 May, organised by FIGC-DCPS and attended by thirty trainees taking part in the course to become Paralympic coaches. For the second-level category, Atalanta For Special and Vharese Milan were featured as concrete examples of football’s role as an educational and inclusive tool.
From the sidelines, the participants observed two distinct coaching approaches: one more focused on structure and technical planning, the other more centred on relationship-building and the emotional engagement of players.
The day concluded with a friendly match between the two teams, followed by an open discussion between coaches and trainees, offering valuable insights into the dynamics of Paralympic football and the importance of personal development through sport.
