Season's Final Training Session for Atalanta For Special
A special guest makes a memorable visit to Nembro
The Atalanta For Special season came to a close in mid-June at the Nembro training ground, bringing to an end another year marked by growth, unforgettable moments and shared experiences.
Making the final training session even more memorable was the visit of Ilaria Galbusera, captain of the Italian Deaf Women's National Volleyball Team and a six-time international medallist across the Deaflympics, World Championships and European Championships.
For the Nerazzurri squad, Galbusera was much more than a special guest: she was a friend and an inspiring role model, embodying determination, passion and the true spirit of teamwork. She spent the afternoon alongside the players, following the training session, chatting with the athletes and staff, and enthusiastically joining in the activities.
In true Atalanta For Special fashion, the day ended with a celebration, filled with smiles, music, dancing and a chance for everyone to enjoy some time together.
It was the perfect way to round off a remarkable season, once again showing how sport can bring people together and create opportunities for inclusion, friendship and personal growth, both on and off the pitch.
