The demolition of the Curva Sud Morosini begins
The demolition day is here, as the dismantling of both the Curva Sud Morosini and the Away Section will commence tomorrow, Thursday the 8th of June.
On the square facing the Curva Sud Morosini, Despe - the Orobic firm operating in the industry of special demolitions - has deployed a CAT 6015 Jumbo Demolition, one of the biggest demolition excavators ever built in the world, to tear down the stands.
The CAT 6015 Jumbo Demolition, which will be used for the first time in Bergamo, incorporates a mix of technology and advanced hydraulics that enables it to carry out large-scale projects with extreme precision despite its incredible size.
All interested fans will be able to watch the first steps of the demolition outside the Gewiss Stadium, on Viale Giulio Cesare or Via del Lazzaretto, starting at 1:15 p.m. (not at 12:00 noon as previously announced).
