A solid point at the Olimpico

Spoils were shared at the Olimpico as the 2025/26 Serie A Enilive Matchday 33 ended in a 1-1 draw.

Atalanta threatened early on after 3 minutes, with De Ketelaere unable to apply the finishing touch to Éderson’s delivery. The breakthrough came on 12 minutes: de Roon won the ball high up the pitch and Krstović finished brilliantly, firing a superb right-footed diagonal past Svilar. Roma responded but were denied by an outstanding Carnesecchi, who kept out efforts from Soulé (18’) and twice from Malen (24’ and 32’). On 33 minutes, Éderson came close to doubling the lead with a solo run, but Svilar managed to deny the Brazilian. Roma found the equaliser just before the break through Hermoso’s close-range finish.

Early in the second half, Zalewski tried his luck twice from the edge of the box. Carnesecchi was once again alert, first dealing with Malen’s curling right-footed effort (63’), then denying Hermoso’s header (67’). The Nerazzurri pushed until the very end, but were unable to find the winning touch. At the Stadio Olimpico, it finished 1-1.
