Representatives: Pašalić and Krstović both on the pitch today
A setback for Montenegro and a draw for Croatia
Two Atalanta players were in action with their national teams on the evening of Thursday, October 9: Mario Pašalić with Croatia and Nikola Krstović with Montenegro: while Mario was named in the starting XI for the Vatreni and played the opening 62 minutes of their goalless draw away to the Czech Republic, Nikola Krstović also started and went the distance, playing the full 90 minutes in Montenegro’s tough 4-0 defeat on Faroe Islands soil.
Looking ahead to Friday, it will be the turn of Charles De Ketelaere, whose Belgium side will host North Macedonia, Isak Hien, who will play in Solna against Switzerland, and Ademola Lookman, ready to head to South Africa for the match against Lesotho.
