Primavera: Parma 1-2 Atalanta
Maffessoli and Baldo secure the Nerazzurri's 4th league victory in a row
The Nerazzurri secured their fourth win of the season — and their seventh consecutive positive result in the league — with a 2-1 victory against Parma on matchday 7 of the Primavera 1 'Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti' league. This result sees Ramaj and his teammates move up to second place in the standings, with 15 points.
Coach Bosi's Nerazzurri got off to a flying start, taking the lead in the ninth minute when Maffessoli headed in the opener from close range, assisted by Baldo. The hosts immediately tried to equalise through Nwajei, but a great save from Zanchi denied him. At the 35-minute mark, Valdivia had the chance to double Atalanta's lead with a free kick from outside the box. However, the Parma goalkeeper turned the curling effort around the post for a corner, keeping the scoreline at 0-1.
Baldo doubled the Nerazzurri's lead in the second half, scoring with a left-footed shot in the 65th minute after substitute Michieletto won the ball on the edge of the box and set him up. A few minutes later, Zanchi pulled off another great save to thwart Balduzzi's powerful shot. Although Parma were awarded a penalty for handball in the dying minutes of the match, which Mikolajewski converted, the Nerazzurri ultimately won 2-1.
