Primavera: Atalanta 3-2 Sassuolo
Cakolli, Ruiz and Baldo seal the Nerazzurri's fifth league win
On matchday 10 of the 2025/26 Primavera 1 “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti”, coach Bosi’s Atalanta Under-20s kept their unbeaten league run intact by earning a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Sassuolo at the Centro Bortolotti, the fifth win of their domestic campiagn.
The Nerazzurri got off to a flying start, taking the lead after 12 minutes through Cakolli. After chances for both Atalanta and Sassuolo, Tomsa levelled from the spot in the 25th minute. Undeterred, Bosi’s lads kept pressing — Pedretti rattled the crossbar before Valdivia’s header from a corner restored Atalanta’s advantage in the 37th minute.
Early in the second half, Mouisse went close with a curling effort, while Isoa denied Negri on 54 minutes. After Baldo and Mouisse were both stopped by the visiting keeper, Gjyla equalised for Sassuolo with a precise angled strike on 63 minutes. The Nerazzurri didn’t let up, though, and after another threat from Cakolli, Baldo fired Atalanta back in front in the 72nd minute. In the closing stages, the Nerazzurri pushed to widen the gap — Michieletto’s shot was deflected for a corner, Gobbo struck the bar, and Gasperello’s right-footed effort flashed just wide — but the match ended 3-2, sealing another well-earned win for the Under-19s and extending their unbeaten league run to 10 games.
