On matchday 24 of the 2024/25 Primavera 1 "Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti", our Atalanta U-20s picked up three vital points with a 1-0 win over Udinese.
After an even start, Atalanta took the lead on 20 minutes when Simonetto's cross from the left found Baldo at the back post, who slotted home from close range. Baldo himself came close to doubling the Nerazzurri's lead in the dying minutes of the first half, but the first 45 minutes ended 1-0 in Atalanta's favour.
After a few chances for the visitors, the second half saw the Nerazzurri take control of the game and dictate the tempo, with Manzoni, Steffanoni, Damiano, Lonardo and Gobbo all threatening. After Zanchi made a crucial save in the dying minutes to keep the score at 1-0, Atalanta held on for the full points.
