Nicola Beati: “I’m very happy with the win”

Following the win over Sambenedettese, coach Nicola Beati commented: “Sambenedettese are a very good side and we did well today. We made life a little difficult for ourselves towards the end because Samb are a tough team and we knew what they were capable of. We should have done better in the first half, but I’m very happy with the win.”

He continued: “We’re a group with good qualities and players who have an excellent work ethic. When you have those ingredients, you tend to improve over time. As I said, it was a shame to go into half-time only one goal ahead because I knew we were up against a strong side who would cause us problems in the second half. Thankfully, and also thanks to our own efforts, we managed to come away with the three points. Games like these are very important for our development.”
