"La Scuola allo Stadio" Round 9 at the New Balance Arena
A class from Turoldo Sports High School in Zogno and 20 Erasmus students in Bergamo took part in the event
On the morning of Friday, April 17, the New Balance Arena hosted the ninth event of the season for “La Scuola allo Stadio”.
Now in its 23rd edition, “La Scuola allo Stadio” is a socio-educational initiative aimed at young people, offering them not only the opportunity to visit Atalanta’s “home”, but also to engage with key topics such as respect for rules, healthy lifestyles, the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying, and environmental sustainability.
This session took on a slightly different format compared to the usual meetings, as the day was dedicated to career guidance within a professional sports organization. The participants were 22 students from a fourth-year class of the “Turoldo” Sports Science High School in Zogno who, before the traditional stadium tour, gathered in the conference room of the New Balance Arena to attend talks by three professionals from Atalanta’s Corporate Area — Eva Bressan (Marketing), Stefania Ghislandi (Communication), and Martina Quintarelli (CSR Manager).
During the tour, the students — accompanied by Lucia Castelli and Francesca Pasciuti, respectively a psychopedagogist and psychologist from Atalanta’s Youth Sector — also had the opportunity to meet Roberto Niccolai, Head of Performance for the Academy, gaining deeper insight into athletic preparation and the development of young talents.
The ninth event of this 23rd edition also welcomed 20 Erasmus students from a wide range of countries — Argentina, Austria, Brazil, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, England, Mexico, Moldova, Poland, and Spain — further enhancing the international dimension of the initiative.
The group was guided by Davide Viscardi, Vice President and Head of Erasmus and Events at AEGEE-Bergamo, an association dedicated to fostering cooperation, communication, and the integration of international students in Bergamo, while encouraging a deeper connection with the European context.
