Manlio Scopigno award: Antonio Percassi named "President Of The Year"
Roberto Samaden awarded as best Head of Youth Academy
"Being unable to personally attend the event due to unexpected events that couldn't otherwise be postponed, I wish to tender my most heartfelt acknowledgement through all our official channels to the Organizing Committee and the Jury, headed by sporting legend Dino Zoff, for such coveted recognition; an award I am honoured and humbled to share with my son Luca and his whole staffing, a staff comprising not just spotless professionals both in the corporate and sporting departments but also true heralds of the Bergamasco spirit thanks to their unwavering working ethos who always go the extra mile to ensure the growth of our Club".
With his words, Atalanta BC President Antonio Percassi wished to convey his thanking upon being bestowed the "President of the Year" laurel, the recognition that was awarded to the black-and-blue main executive during the giving ceremony of the "Manlio Scopigno" prize by the Organizing Committee and the Jury led by Dino Zoff due to ther Club's achievements in the 2023-2024 season.
During the course of the recognition ceremony, held at CONI's Salone d’Onore in Rome in the morning of today, Monday October 7, Atalanta were also awarded another coveted prize as Roberto Samaden picked up the gong for best Head of Youth Academy of the 2023-2024 season.
