Lookman is the 2023/24 Player of the season!

It's him again, Ademola Lookman! The reigning champion defends his title and is crowned straight-a student for the second year in a row after staving off an unsparing competition, to the point of both bringing the contest to an overtime runoff and stepping the posedown up to the Instagram profile after the regular session  ended in a tie...

Building on his 17 goals and 11 key passes in all competitions (making him the team's second-best seasonal scorer and wingman) and with the hat-trick scored in the magical Dublin final as his main leg-up, Lookman tips the ItalianOptic branded crown once again!

The second and third steps of the podium went to the two midfield praetorians Éderson and Koopmeiners.

Despite his best attempts after forcing an unprecedented head-to-head, the POTM for October and November and third prize winner in the May-June pageant pulled off a well-deserved only managed to pull off a nonetheless well-deserved second place in the end-all-be-all contest. Surely an award to the consistency and perseverance showcased, match in and match out for a whopping count of 52, by the Brazilian pivot who, in addition to his unquestionable quality and quantity by the score, opted to throw in a boisterous scoring knack (with 7 nets scored in all competitions) to spice things up.

The bronze medal, yet another one after the 4 third places claimed in the August/September, January, February and March contests,  went to Teun Koopmeiners. A household name for both the  ItalianOptic podium and the black-and-blue starting XI in his own right (with the 3930 minutes played in over 51 games as a further straw in the wind), the second-best seasonal goalscorer surely knew how to leave his mark  this season with a 22-goal contribution (15 scored and 7 assists) in all competition. As Lookman's flipside, Teun sooner used his prowess to nullify the field factor, having bagged 12 goals away from Bergamo.
