Grief over the passing of Marco Piga

Atalanta, deeply moved, mourn the passing of Marco Piga.

Piga donned the black-and-blue shirt for the whole 1976/77 season and the first months of the 1977/78 campaign (before completing a permanent transfer, together with his twin brother Mario, to Avellino). During his stint as a Nerazzurro, the Sardinia-born striker scored four goals in the 1976/77 campaign and one net in the 1977/78 Coppa Italia run.
