Friendly match DCPS 2nd-tier ATALANTA FOR SPECIAL 4-3 ARCOBALENO MONZA
Atalanta's goals scored by Walter Probo (2) and Marco Capitanio (2)
A complicated start of the game for Atalanta For Special's seniors who took the field a bit stuck, perhaps challenged by the physicality and technical skills from their opponents. Arcobaleno Monza impacted the game strongly, with some well-executed counterattacks, and took the lead after only three minutes. The Nerazzurri's equalizer, though, didn't take long: Walter Probo was in charge of taking a free kick from a long distance and sent the ball into the net with a powerful finish. Thrilled by the 1-1 goal, For Special created two great goal chances with Virgilito and then Cordozo, but failed to finalize.
Just when the lads led by coach Gianmario Lesmo seemed to have recovered, here it was Monza’s reaction who overturned everything in three minutes and made it 3-1 at the end of the first half. Triple change at halftime: Campo, Capitanio and Bianchino were subbed in and the Atalanta For Special began to increase the pace and speed of play, putting pressure on the opponents. It is again Walter Probo who takes the stage: with a solo action he scores his personal brace, halving the disadvantage. Excellent reaction of the Nerazzurri who also managed to equalize thanks to Marco Capitanio, good at surprising the opponent's goalkeeper with an impeccable low shot. Arcobaleno Monza dropped their pace, the Nerazzurri grew in intensity to equalize first and then take the lead thanks to another brace by Marco Capitanio, which fixed the result at 4-2 for Atalanta For Special.
