For Special, the new season begins with a victory
The Nerazzurri win the 6th edition of the Dream Cup Emiliano Mondonico
With the start of the 2025/26 sports season, Atalanta For Special immediately rediscovered their enthusiasm and competitive spirit. In their very first outing of the season, in fact, the Nerazzurri claimed victory in the 6th edition of the Dream Cup Emiliano Mondonico, a fourth-category tournament held on August 24 in San Pellegrino Terme, during the Trofeo Quarenghi.
The Nerazzurri, led as always by coach Gianmario Lesmo and his staff, faced the Bergamasca Representative in an intense match, well played by both sides. However, Atalanta’s superior technical and physical qualities left no chance for their opponents, who fought hard but were forced to yield to the Nerazzurri’s attacking power.
Star of the match was Renato Riva, scorer of a hat-trick, alongside Pezzotti Ulisse, Eklou Tino, Mateo Virgillito and Felipe Hurtado, who all contributed to the Nerazzurri’s resounding 9-1 victory.
Next stop: Trentino-Alto Adige! The For Special team will continue their preparation at the training camp in Brentonico, scheduled from August 31 to September 3, in view of their upcoming commitments.
