For Special, joint training session with Sorisolese

An afternoon defined by genuine football, shared smiles, and values that truly make a difference: this was the experience enjoyed by the young players of the Atalanta For Special academy in Nembro, alongside the Under-13 side of Polisportiva Sorisolese.

For a few hours, every difference faded away. On the pitch there was just one team: playing together, enjoying the game, supporting one another, and experiencing sport in its purest form. It was a powerful educational moment, where football became a vehicle for connection, respect, and friendship.

As always, the many coaches from the For Special academy were present, deliberately stepping back to give the Sorisolese players full freedom to interact naturally with the boys, allowing everyone involved to experience something truly meaningful both on and off the field.

“The session with Polisportiva Sorisolese was far from an isolated occasion; it perfectly reflects the educational journey that Atalanta For Special has been promoting for years. For us, these joint training sessions are essential because they allow young people to experience inclusion in the most authentic and natural way possible. When differences disappear on the pitch and one single team emerges, football becomes an extraordinary educational tool,” said Gianmario Lesmo, coach of Atalanta For Special.
