The preparations for the match commenced in an atmosphere of cordiality and mutual respect. Ahead of the League Phase round 5, the delegations of Eintracht Frankfurt and Atalanta, together with UEFA representatives, convened for the traditional pre-match Fair Play gathering, a moment that embodies the principles of sportsmanship and cooperation between the Clubs.
The pre-match ceremony was further distinguished by the enduring bond between the Atalanta and Eintracht supporters: this longstanding friendship, acknowledged during the meeting, lent a distinctive significance to the European encounter at the Frankfurt Stadion.
Representing Eintracht Frankfurt were CEO Axel Hellmann, President Mathias Beck, Board Members Markus Krösche, Philipp Reschke and Julien Zamberk; Supervisory Board Members Sven Janssen and Felix Wirmer, Director of International Relations and Sports Partnerships Samye Hamama, and Board Advisor and Head of Protocol Rainer Falkenhain – all present to welcome the guests ahead of the pre-match proceedings.
Leading the Nerazzurri delegation was CEO Luca Percassi, accompanied by Corporate General Manager Andrea Fabris, Institutional General Manager Umberto Marino, Commercial & Marketing Director Romano Zanforlin, General Secretary & UEFA Main Contact Marco Semprini.
