Éderson shortlisted by Brazil for the Copa America

To feature in the forthcoming Copa America with Brazil after receiving his first-ever call-up, Atalanta midfielder Éderson will join the Carioca expedition in the USA. After already making his unofficial debut with the Seleção and playing the opening 84 minutes in the game against Mexico, he was an unused sub in the other friendly of the week that saw Brazil share spoils with United States (1-1).

After facing Costa Rica in the 2024 Copa America's MD1 on June 24 in Los Angeles, the Canarinha outfit will then play Paraguay and Colombia in the Group Stage.
