Coach Sarri's press conference ahead of Roma v Atalanta
The Nerazzurri manager previews tomorrow's Serie A game
Head Coach Maurizio Sarri spoke to the media on the eve of Atalanta’s trip to face AS Roma on Matchday 3 of the 2026/27 Serie A Enilive season. The fixture kicks off tomorrow, Saturday 5 September, at 20:45 CEST at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
The transfer window, which closed on Tuesday, was also among the topics discussed. “First of all, I’m absolutely delighted that it’s over. That said, I’m satisfied with the transfer window, although, as always, it will ultimately be the pitch that judges it. Now, though, we have a big and important match ahead of us.”
All eyes are now on the match against Roma: “We’re coming up against a team that has already had thirteen or fourteen months to work together. They were already a strong side and have strengthened even further. They’re a team ready to challenge for the title, and I’d be surprised if Roma weren’t in the Scudetto race right until the end.”
