Barcelona v Atalanta, important info for Nerazzurri fans travelling to Spain

In view of the upcoming FC Barcelona vs. Atalanta outing, scheduled for Wednesday 29 January at 21:00 CET at the Olímpic Lluís Companys Stadium (Passeig Olímpic, 15, 08038) in Barcelona, here is some useful information for all Nerazzurri fans who will be travelling to Spain for matchday 8 of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League.

ARRIVAL IN BARCELONA

The main airports are:

Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN): Located 12 km from the city centre, it is the main international hub.
Girona Airport (GRO): If landing at Girona, the train transfer to Barcelona takes approximately 90 minutes.

TRANSPORTATION TO THE ESTADI OLÍMPIC LLUÍS COMPANYS

Meeting Point: Atalanta fans will meet at 18:00 at Av. Reina Maria Cristina - Plaça de l'Univers, Sants-Montjuïc, (https://maps.app.goo.gl/UfTWx9QKwvtSVhne7) to head to the stadium together.

Shuttles to the Stadium: Shuttles will be available from Fira Gran Via (shuttle A) and Plaça Espanya (shuttle B) for fans who have difficulty walking.

Subway: The closest subway station to the stadium is Espanya (Lines 1, red, and 3, green), about 10 minutes on foot.

Bus: Bus lines 50, 55, and 9 stop near the stadium.

By Car: It is not recommended to drive to the stadium due to traffic restrictions and the lack of parking within the stadium.

Bus Parking: Only Atalanta fan buses will be allowed to park near the stadium on Carrer de los juegos del 92.

SECURITY AND STADIUM ACCESS

The visiting stand opens at 19:00 CET. Atalanta fans, who are encouraged to arrive early to avoid long queues, should enter through Gate 10. Access is not allowed for children under the age of 14 unless accompanied by a parent.

Tickets are personal, with random checks of the ID provided at the time of purchase. Make sure to have your ticket ready in digital or paper format for entry verification.

INSIDE THE STADIUM

Food and Beverages: Inside the Estadi Olímpic, various food and drink options are available, but no alcoholic beverages, including beer, are permitted. Payment can be made by credit or debit card and/or cash.

Fan Accessories: Flags (without poles), scarves, banners (max 3x2m and 4x1m), and other items with the Atalanta logo are only allowed in the visiting fans' stand. Food and beverages up to 500 ml without caps and backpacks/bags no larger than A4 size are permitted. Bulky or dangerous items are not allowed.

Prohibited items include:

• Suitcases
• Drums
• Megaphones
• Any type of pole, including plastic or fishing rods used for flags

No Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the stadium, including the stands, vomitories, and internal atrium areas. FC Barcelona reserves the right to eject anyone refusing to comply with the club’s no-smoking policy.
