Atalanta’s Primavera to take on Torino in Vercelli on Wednesday
Match to kick off at 16:00 CET at the stadium Piola
As part of Matchday 19 of the Primavera 1 TIM 2022-2023 “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” league, Atalanta are to take on Torino in the mid-week fixture to be played on Wednesday the 15th of January (kick-off time at 16:00 CET) at the Piola stadium in Vercelli. As customary, the match will be aired both via the official Solocalcio DTT channel and the Sportitalia App.
Whereas the Nerazzurri are currently 14th in the standings with 19 points and on a tying streak of two consecutive 2-2 draws (including the latest fixture played at the Centro Bortolotti against Empoli), Torino, on the other hand, are currently sitting second, huddled together with the likes of Lecce and Frosinone - all with 33 points - and will try their hand at extending their flying start in this second half of the tournament, building on the 3-1 home victory clinched against Cagliari.
The reverse fixture this season, played on the 27th of August at the Centro Bortolotti in the first half of the league, culminated with Torino's 3-2 victory as a goal scored in the depths of injury time nullified Atalanta's double lead (courtesy of De Nipoti and Palestra).
