Back on track in style, the 2024/25 Serie C NOW MD32 saw Atalanta regain winning momentum with a 4-1 walkover against Feralpisalò in Caravaggio: sealing the deal for the Nerazzurri, a double Ghislandi, Bernasconi and Vavassori.
After Feralpisalò knocked on Vismara's door twice, twice meeting the black-and-blue keeper's opposition, Vavassori spun the Nerazzurri's lead on 11 minutes with a through ball for Cassa: after getting the jump on his marker, Atalanta's number 21 whipped a pinpoint cross towards Ghislandi, who broke the deadlock in Caravaggio with his seasonal first. Capitalizing on a defensive slip-up from the hosts, the visitors levelled the scores in the 18th with Crespi. Curtains fell on a boisterous first half with Bergonzi sending his first-touch finish over the bar.
The Nerazzurri got back in the driver seat in the 55th: after bursting into the box to gather Panada's through pass, Ghislandi rolled the ball across for an onrushing Bernasconi, who broke the deadlock with a powerful finish. Atalanta's third of the game came on 62 minutes courtesy of the Cassa-Vavassori duo: slicing through the opposing defence after a give-and-go, Cassa laid it off to our number 11, who sealed the deal with finesse lob. Doing it to the hilt, Atalanta made it 4 in the 70th through an unguardable Ghislandi, slotting yet another clear-cut Cassa cross into the net to complete his brace.
