Atalanta U23 0-1 Giugliano
Setback in Caravaggio
Atalanta Under-23s’ unbeaten streak in the 2025/26 Serie C Sky Wifi campaign came to an end on Matchday 13, as the Nerazzurri slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Giugliano.
The first chance of the game fell to the Nerazzurri when Manzoni’s through ball released Levak, whose clever back-heel flick rolled just wide of the far post. On 34 minutes, Riccio tried his luck from distance with a powerful strike that the visiting goalkeeper, Bolletta, could only parry — the ball almost sneaking over the line. Moments later, Manzoni led a quick counter-attack to tee up Misitano, who was denied one-on-one by Bolletta. Bocchetti’s side kept pushing, with Ghislandi firing over before the break.
Giugliano found the breakthrough just 30 seconds into the second half through Prado. Atalanta looked to respond but struggled to carve out clear-cut chances, the best coming deep into stoppage time when Simonetto’s dangerous cross was turned behind by Bolletta.
