14 Nerazzurri called up for World Cup Qualifiers

Fourteen Atalanta first-team players have been called up for their national teams during the early-September window for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers:

Raoul Bellanova, Marco Carnesecchi, Daniel Maldini and Gianluca Scamacca have been selected by Italy for fixtures against Estonia (Friday, September 5, in Bergamo) and Israel (Monday, September 8 in Debreceni, Hungary).

Charles De Ketelaere will suit up for Belgium as the Red Devils take on Liechtenstein (Thursday, September 4 in Vaduz) and Kazakhstan (Sunday, September 7 in Anderlecht).

Berat Djimsiti will answer Albania's call for the friendly against Gibraltar (Firday, September 5 in Gibraltar) and Latcia (Tuesday, September 9 in Tirana).

Isak Hien will line up for Sweden in the games against Solvenia (Friday, September 5 in Lubjana) and Kosovo (Monday, September 8 in Pristina).

Odilon Kossounou will feature for Ivory Coast in fixtures against Burundi (Friday, September 5 in Abidjan) and Gabon (Tuesday, September 9 in Franceville).

Nikola Krstović will join Montenegro for matches against Czech Republic (Friday, September 5 in Podgorica) and Croatia (Monday, September 8 in Zagreb).

Ademola Lookman is set to feature for Nigeria in their matches against Rwanda (Saturday, 6 September in Akwa Ibom) and South Africa (Tuesday, 9 September in Bloemfontein).

Mario Pašalić will be in action for Croatia as they face the Faroe Islands (Friday, 5 September in Tórsvøllur) and Montenegro (Monday, 8 September in Zagreb).

Lazar Samardžić has been called up by Serbia for their matches against Latvia (Saturday, 6 September in Riga) and England (Tuesday, 9 September in Belgrade).

Kamaldeen Sulemana will play for Ghana in their qualifiers against Chad (Thursday, 4 September in N'Djamena) and Mali (Monday, 8 September in Accra).
